Director: Lisa Stuckwisch​

Lisa, the Director of Rainbow Equine Center, has over 20 years of experience in special education. As well as being a Registered Behavior Technician. She has over 40 years of overall horsemanship knowledge with her primary riding discipline being Dressage. After she retired from Professional Riding, she dreamed of combining her two passions into a well rounded educational experience. Rainbow Equine is the end result of those dreams!

Deputy Executive Director/ Instructor:Katie Stuckwisch

Katie holds a degree in Special Education (K–12) and a master's degree in Health and Wellness Education. She has over 9 years of experience as an Intervention Specialist and more than 20 years of horsemanship experience. Her unique approach combines education and equine partnership to help each student build confidence, strength, and flexibility at their own pace.

Chelsea

Chelsea holds a bachelor's degree in K–12 Moderate/Intensive Intervention Specialist Education (Special Education) and a master's degree in Technology Facilitation. She has 15 years of experience teaching students with Multiple Disabilities (MD) and currently works with high school students identified with Emotional Disturbance (ED) who have experienced challenges in traditional school settings and now attend an alternative school.

Beyond her work in education, Chelsea has trained with Lisa since 2016. She has a passion for English riding and a particular appreciation for Thoroughbreds.

Josie

She began her journey here as a working student and has grown into a talented, intuitive horsewoman through extensive hands-on experience, including liberty work and starting young horses. Having ridden and trained throughout Central Ohio for many years, Josie has developed a soft, intuitive relationship with both horses and riders. She has a natural ability to meet each horse and each student exactly where they are, creating an environment that supports growth, trust, and genuine connection. ​

Brooke

Brooke’s love for horses started at the age of 8.   Lessons on the flat and over fences led to owning a first horse at 13 years old.  Pony Club, dressage, eventing, high jumping, training with olympic riders, competing, and teaching both children and adults to ride fulfilled her passion for decades. She also enjoys trail rides and Liberty Horsemanship.

Stephanie

Stephanie Stuckwisch has over 20 years of experience working with horses. She earned her Bachelor's degrees in Biology and Philosophy and her Master's in Wildlife Biology and Conservation. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). Stephanie combines extensive hands-on equine experience with a strong scientific background to provide practical, evidence-based instruction focused on horse health, welfare, and horsemanship.

Cara

​Cara is a special ed teacher, owner of Beach Spirit Apparel- with a background in CrossFit. Her passion is for inclusion and creating opportunities within her business and community for her son on the spectrum. She strives to help each individual find their own path. ​"Find a light in the tunnel, to help them find their own why, voice and reasoning."- Her Son, Clark Egeland

Raegan

Reagan has been working with horses for more than 12 years. She showed competitively for six years and has recently become a certified equine massage therapist. She also has a background in Special Education. Raegan has a passion for caring and loving all animals. She helps us manage our day to day activities at the Barn, as well as care for the animals. Her main riding discipline is Western Riding.

Maddie

Maddie has worked with horses most of her life. For the last decade she has learned how to adapt riding english or western styles to any disability through personal experience. She is currently pursuing her DVM and a Ph.D in Biomedical Engineering, focusing on developing adaptable medical devices for animals. She rides both English and Western.​
